After trying it cold, hot and every which way, we think that Sleepy Owl Cold Brew Packets are enjoyable but priced too high for coffee we brew ourselves. We found the cold brew in itself, caused fewer acidity symptoms in our testers – making it a welcome – but not quite scientifically proven as better – way to consume coffee.
I found Scoopski Edible Cookie Dough to be a novelty product that has some work to do in terms of pricing, packaging, and manufacturing before it appeals to me, as well as the wider market. Priced at ₹300-400 for a 300g jar, it does not override my desire for getting a pre-baked high-quality cookie at the nearby bakery just yet.
I found Gouri’s Goodies Assorted Energy Bites to be delicious, filling and are a welcome addition to my pre-workout or travel snack roster. With each bite between 30-40 kcal, 2 bites have me quickly sated. Priced at ~₹20 per bite, it feels like its worth it. Keep in mind, the chocolate bites melt easily and most of the bites have dairy, nuts, and invert syrup. Also it’s for energy, not protein.
My Embrace box has a few quirks to iron out and a limited but growing marketplace of snacks, but a good bet if you’re looking to “customize” a snack box or as a one-time gift for that vegan or gluten-free friend.
